Who we are

Lev Developments LLC is a licensed North Carolina general contractor based in Charlotte. This policy covers lev-developments.com and the vendor onboarding portal at lev-developments.com/vendors/onboarding.

What we collect

When you contact us. The name, email address, phone number, and project details you type into our contact form or send us by email.

When you onboard as a vendor. Your business name and email address, a verification code sent to that address, your completed W-9, your Certificate of Insurance, and — if you pass signing to someone else — that person's name and email address. A W-9 contains a taxpayer identification number, which may be a Social Security number for a sole proprietor. We treat those documents accordingly.

Automatically. Our host, Cloudflare, records standard server information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and reliability. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell data.

Why we collect it

To answer your enquiry, to price and schedule work, to verify that a vendor is who they say they are, to meet tax and insurance obligations, and to keep the site working and secure. We do not use your information for anything else without asking you first.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the business, and only for that purpose:

• CloudflareHosting, storage, and access control for the website and portal.
• ResendSending verification codes and signing invitations by email.
• DocuSignElectronic signature of the vendor agreement and W-9.
• Our accountants and insurersWhere a document is required for tax reporting or coverage verification.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

How long we keep it

Vendor tax and insurance records are retained as long as we work together and afterwards for the period tax and limitation rules require — generally seven years. Uploaded files sit in short-term storage while onboarding is in progress and are moved into our records once complete. Contact enquiries are kept while the opportunity is live and for a reasonable period after.

How we protect it

The site runs over HTTPS. The vendor portal verifies your email before showing you anything, keeps each vendor's file separate, and puts our staff panel behind a separate identity check. No system is perfect, but sensitive documents are handled with that in mind rather than emailed around as attachments.

Your choices

Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete what we are not legally required to keep. If you are in a state with a specific privacy statute, such as California, we honour the rights it gives you regardless of whether the statute applies to a business our size.

Children

This site is for business use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes affecting active vendors will be sent by email.
