Lev Developments is run by Ben Levite, a mechanical engineer who builds houses. He built and sold homes across the Charlotte region before taking the general contractor's license and building new ones under his own name.
That background is why the company works the way it does. An engineer reads a set of plans for what will go wrong on site, not for what looks good on paper, and the habit of checking the work yourself does not go away when it becomes your name on the permit. He is on site for every build. He is also the number you call.
There is no sales team here and no project manager standing between you and the person responsible for your house. That limits how many builds we take in a year, and it is the trade we would rather make.
